We are Golden Anchor

Reading Glasses on Book

Our Story

Golden Anchor was founded with one simple goal: to put people first. Our journey began when we were working in data entry for one of the largest health insurance companies in the United States. While we learned the ins and outs of the industry, we couldn’t ignore a troubling trend—too much focus on selling policies and not enough on helping customers understand the true value of their coverage.

We saw firsthand how many people were left without a full understanding of their benefits, and we knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we created Golden Anchor, a company built on trust, transparency, and genuine care for our clients. Our mission is to guide you through the complexities of health insurance, ensuring you’re not just covered, but truly protected.

At Golden Anchor, your peace of mind is our priority.

Medicare

Signing a Contract

Medicare is a U.S. federal health insurance program for people aged 65 and older, as well as certain younger individuals with disabilities or specific conditions. It has four parts: Part A covers hospital stays, Part B covers doctor visits and outpatient care, Part C offers private insurance plans with extra benefits, and Part D covers prescription drugs. Funded through payroll taxes and premiums, Medicare helps millions of Americans access essential healthcare services. Beneficiaries pay premiums and out-of-pocket costs depending on their plan and coverage.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly known as Obamacare, is a U.S. healthcare reform law aimed at expanding access to health insurance. It provides subsidies to help lower-income individuals afford coverage, prevents insurance companies from denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions, and mandates that most Americans have health insurance or pay a penalty. Obamacare also expanded Medicaid eligibility and established health insurance marketplaces where people can compare and purchase plans. Its goal is to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all Americans.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is a contract between an individual and an insurance company, where the insurer agrees to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money upon the policyholder’s death. In exchange, the policyholder pays regular premiums during their lifetime. Life insurance is designed to provide financial security to loved ones, helping cover expenses such as funeral costs, debts, and ongoing living expenses. There are different types of life insurance, including term life, which offers coverage for a specific period, and whole life, which provides lifelong coverage with an investment component.
